This England defender has excel for Palace despite a summer move to Liverpool collapsing. With his deal due to run out in the close season, January is the London club's last opportunity to obtain a fee for their skipper. A host of top sides, including Manchester City and several European giants like Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, are believed to hold an interest. However, a winter exit is considered difficult, especially given the manager's reliance on the defender.

Brennan Johnson

The Wales winger has found starting opportunities limited at Spurs this campaign. Although being the side's leading goalscorer last season, he has begun just a handful of league matches. It is understood the London club is willing to consider a transfer for the correct price, thought to be in the around £40 million. Bournemouth are currently at the front of the queue, with Aston Villa, Brentford, and Crystal Palace also showing an inquiry.

The Turin club are eager to tie down the 20-year-old to a lengthy contract but are in a race to keep one of Europe's most promising prospects.

Kees Smit

The highly-touted Dutch midfielder has earned parallels to Kevin De Bruyne for his playing style. After starring at the Under-19 European Championship, he has become a regular in the AZ Alkmaar side. This 19-year-old is widely expected to complete a big-money move in January. Newcastle are believed to be leading the chase, but could face strong rivalry from the Spanish champions for a deal valued at around twenty-two million pounds.
