Los Angeles experienced citywide festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-match World Series title. Fans across the globe united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a franchise has secured back-to-back championships.
Victory Parade Draws Massive Crowds
Local events featured a downtown parade on Monday morning, a ticketed rally at the team's home stadium, and impromptu gatherings throughout the city.
Online footage show thousands of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and Dodger flags. The squad was seen traveling proudly on a double-decker bus through the crowds, raising the championship trophy proudly.
